 CLEANING TECHNICIANS AND HOUSEKEEPERS

Brief Description

The position of Cleaning Technician and Housekeeper consists of performing any combination of cleaning duties to maintain private household and commercial establishments such as: hotels, Airbnb’s, restaurants, hair salons/barber shops, in a clean and orderly manner 

TYPICAL TASKS

  • Taking a minimum of 6 “Before” photos or each room and Add-On
  • Top-Down Dusting
  • Polishing furniture and fixtures. 
  • Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers bathtubs, countertops, cabinets/drawers, baseboards, doors, sinks, kitchens, restrooms and others surfaces that need cleaning
  • Maintaining cleaning supplies 
  • Making beds and changing linens 
  • Washing windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces 
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping a variety of floors (pay special attention to corners)
  • Cleaning carpet and rugs
  • Cleaning upholstery and drapes
  • Washing towels and linens
  • Using equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools 
  • With Airbnb’s, stocking and other  Necessary task to get each home ready
  • Emptying trash and taking it to its designated areas
  • Washing  blinds
  • Reporting any necessary information (i.e. damages, pest, etc)
  • Make improvements to the overall housekeeping functions and experience with each job
  • Clean spaces with a variety of chemicals, disinfectants and machines  
  • Washing dishes and loading dishwasher and occasionally putting away dishes
  • Other cleaning related duties
  • Taking a minimum of 6 “After” photos or each room and Add-On. Forward to the provided Company email address.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Support the Mission of The Company
  • Personal maturity, sound judgment, motivation and integrity 
  • Able to operate housekeeping equipment 
  • Able to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals,  disinfectants and other cleaning supplies 
  • Desire and willingness to work as a team without household and other departments
  • Own or have access to reliable transportation
  • Must be of the age of 18 or older
  • Must own a cell phone that allows you to be contacted reliably
  • Must have a valid driver license 
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Follow  all health and safety regulations due to Safety and Covid
  • Communicating with clients and team members with maturity, respect and professionalism 
  • Must be able to Work without supervision or being micromanaged
  • Must be able to perform the duties of cleaning 
  • 1099 contractor status. Each contractor is responsible for paying and taking out their own taxes
